There is something special about an old university library. The way the sunlight hits the marble floor. The smell of books, brass and ambition. It is precisely in this world that Grade A Copenhagen draws its inspiration and at the same time breaks with it.

Grade A Copenhagen embraces and celebrates the Ivy League style - and we add Scandinavian confidence and sophistication. Here, American tradition is combined with a European edge.

A classic starting point with room for attitude

At the center is the deep green Gant velour blazer with an embroidered crest – a clear reference to American university jackets worn by the best-dressed students at Harvard, Princeton and Yale in the 1950s and 60s. The jacket is both a statement and subtle detail. It signals ambition, but also style awareness.

The white shirt and the classic regimental tie create a sharp, yet traditional contrast. It's formal without being stiff. A uniformed expression – with personality.

The navy blue trousers are tailored and understated, acting as a calm base for the rest of the outfit, evoking academic traditions and contemplation.

But it's the details that complete the story: The white socks break convention – just like the young men who transformed Ivy League style into something their own. And the black leather loafers emphasize an approach to life that is both in control of form and relaxed in it.

A new interpretation of the classic

Ivy League style is not just about clothes – it's about values. About discipline and boldness. About knowing your syllabus, but also asking questions. About being well-dressed, without shouting loudly. It's this balance that Grade A Copenhagen wants to create in every single collection.

We draw our inspiration from old yearbooks, debate clubs, tennis courts and the refined code of universities. But we create with a contemporary perspective. Our designs should not resemble anything from the past – they should be able to stand in the present and shape the future.
