General

Grade A Copenhagen's terms of trade are based on the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

 

Products

Grade A Copenhagen sells vintage and secondhand clothing and accessories. All items are carefully selected with quality and sustainability in mind. Grade A Copenhagen offers selected items, which are mostly unique and therefore only available in one size and one variant.

 

Payment

Grade A Copenhagen uses common payment methods such as VISA, Mastercard, and MobilePay as payment providers.

By paying and completing an order, you accept Grade A Copenhagen's terms of trade (as explained on this page).

Payment for an order is processed when the order is shipped.

 

Personal Information

You can shop safely with Grade A Copenhagen.

Grade A Copenhagen processes personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act. This is done with the utmost respect and integrity, and no personal information will be disclosed to third parties. We record information about you so that you can purchase goods, which includes personal data: name, address, email address, and phone number. Your personal data is only stored for the time required to execute an order. If you have questions regarding personal data, you can contact us here.

 

Delivery

Items purchased on gradeacopenhagen.com are sent and delivered to Denmark and countries in the EU. We strive to ship your order within 1-2 business days.

Delivery in Denmark

Delivery is made to a parcel shop for 49 DKK and to a private address for 69 DKK. For purchases over 499 DKK, there is free delivery to a parcel shop. Delivery to a parcel shop is based on your specified delivery address, after which the order is sent to the nearest parcel shop for collection.

Delivery to the EU

Delivery is made to a private address for 75 DKK, equivalent to 10.95 EUR.

 

Invoice

An invoice is not enclosed with the shipment of goods. Sustainability is part of our concept, and therefore we save paper. You will therefore only receive the invoice via email or SMS.

 

Returning a purchase

At Grade A Copenhagen, customers have a 14-day return policy starting from the day of receipt.

The product must appear in the same condition as when purchased and be returned together with any original tag with the item number and in any original packaging.


Returning in our store (Copenhagen)

You can return physically in our store at H.C. Ørsteds Vej 22D, 1879 Frederiksberg. Remember to have your receipt ready.

Returning via shipping

Grade A Copenhagen charges a fee to cover shipping and handling costs in connection with returns. The fee is automatically deducted from the amount you are refunded in connection with the return. See our terms of trade for more information.

Return fee, Denmark: 49 DKK.

Return fee, other EU countries: 75 DKK (equivalent to 10.95 euros)

Do the following to return your purchase:

  • Log in to your account at Grade A Copenhagen
  • Enter your email, and you will then receive a one-time code via email, which you use to log in.
  • Select the order from which you wish to make a return.
  • Select the return reason and submit a return request. You will finally receive a confirmation via email.
  • When we have processed your return, you will receive a QR code, which you must present at your nearest GLS parcel shop when returning the package. Once you have sent the package from the GLS parcel shop, we take over and complete the return.
  • It can take up to 10 business days to process a return.
  • After processing is complete, you will receive an email with a return receipt, and the return amount will be paid out.
  • The refund takes between 2-10 business days depending on the payment method and bank.
  • Note: Grade A Copenhagen reserves the right to wait with the refund until the returned items have been received or documentation is provided that a return has been sent and is on its way back.

 

Returning larger orders

We encourage our customers to shop consciously and choose the products they truly wish to keep. As a secondhand business, we mainly handle unique items, and extensive returns result in extra transport, packaging, and handling, and mean that the items are unavailable to other customers for a period of time.

Your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal is not affected by the number of items you return.

When returning via shipping, the customer pays the direct costs for the return shipment in accordance with our applicable return terms. Any extra costs for return shipping due to the size or weight of a return shipment may be charged to the customer, to the extent that they correspond to the actual direct costs of the return.

Gift cards

Gift cards for Grade A Copenhagen can be used on our webshop and in our store. Gift cards are valid for as long as Grade A Copenhagen exists. Gift cards can be exchanged for cash for a fee of 100 DKK.

 

Order behavior and responsible purchasing

At Grade A Copenhagen, we work with curated vintage items, where each product is unique and only available in one copy. We see ourselves as part of a community where responsible consumption and respect for the products are central. We therefore reserve the right to contact customers in connection with an order if it is assessed to deviate from normal purchasing behavior, including the purchase of several similar items with the intention of selection and subsequent return of the majority of the order. This is because unique items in such cases are temporarily removed from other customers, while unnecessary shipping and returns result in an increased environmental impact. We therefore encourage customers to make well-considered purchases, and for local customers, we recommend picking up in the store, where it is possible to see and try on the items before purchase. Grade A Copenhagen reserves the right in special cases to cancel or limit orders that are not in accordance with the above principles.

 

Complaints

Grade A Copenhagen exclusively sells used goods and therefore does not accept complaints due to ordinary wear and tear, which must be expected for an item that has been in use. As a customer at Grade A Copenhagen, you are thus aware that the purchased clothing is used and therefore must expect a certain form of wear. If you experience major faults and defects in a product, you have 24 months to notify Grade A Copenhagen about this.
