Uplifting concept

“Just having a physical vintage store in Denmark that has a penchant for classic clothing is uplifting.”

Torsten Grunwald, The Well-Dressed Man

We recently had the pleasure of being visited by Torsten Grunwald – the man behind the magazine The Well-Kept Man and the book Stil bestaard. He is one of Denmark's most knowledgeable communicators of classic men's style.

We had a really good chat about our approach to vintage, our ambitions with Grade A Copenhagen and our love for the classic – without being dogmatic.

Torsten has subsequently written a thorough and honest review of our store and concept. He highlights everything from our preppy-inspired style universe and approach to sustainability, to our ambitions to make it easier to shop second-hand – without compromising on aesthetics and service.

The article contains both praise and reflections – and we are pleased to be met with exactly the curiosity and professionalism that characterizes The Well-Dressed Man .
